Ray Bringham eulogized
Raymond Ira Bringham at the age of 88 triumphantly entered Heaven, Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, resulting from cancer. He was married for 65 years.¬Ý
Mr. Bringham, known to everyone as Ray, is survived by his wife, Mildred ’ÄúMid’Äù and his three children, Sharon Spiekerman, Larry and Lonny Bringham; and seven grandchildren.
He served in ministry over 65 years. His latter years of ministry were with Prayer Summit Ministry. He was known to be a man of vision, a pioneer for the church, blazing new trails for repentance, prayer and unity, with Catholics and Protestants.¬Ý
Mr. Bringham was friends with cardinals, bishops, priests, pastors, and Christian leaders worldwide. He served on the National Prayer Breakfast Board, National Prayer Committee and World Council of Churches as a prayer leader.¬Ý
His piercing, bright blue, pure eyes were filled with love, compassion and kindness and his humble quiet life touched thousands. He traveled to Rome, Spain, Australia, Israel, Zimbabwe, South Korea and many other places around the U.S. and world, where he was bold and humble, but exemplifying repentance, love, grace, mercy and forgiveness.¬Ý
