Franny Lowry of San Diego has this
report about her trip to Egypt with e3 Partners Ministry in
November:
ìEgypt is a different sort of outreach.
Although itís North Africa, really itís the Middle East. You
canít openly evangelize, so the strategy there is to train
up leaders within the believers there to go out and make a
difference to the people around them. Relationships and the
love of Christ is what draws people in. I worked at a Christian
conference center there training local believers in the aspect
of discipling, worship, business ethics, and Experiencing
God. We not only accomplished this strategy but also in seeing
life changed and commitments made to Christ.Ý
ìI talked on ëNew Life In Christí
(discipling) and in our class, three of the young men ended
up making a commitment to Jesus (they originally came with
some friends not realizing what the conference was about)
and two young ladies who hadnít talked to each other in over
three months put to heart our forgiveness talk and forgave
one another right then and there.Ý
ìWe became the Aaron to their Moses
in lifting up and encouraging the believers there. I firmly
believe that Egypt will play a major role in reaching many
Muslims and Islamic countries with the love of Christ.î
