Aglow adds new chapter in La Mesa

Aglow International, the world’s largest nondenominational Christian women’s organization with chapter’s in 151 countries worldwide, has established a new chapter in San Diego.

La Mesa Metro-Inner City, a Aglow Lighthouse chapter, began on March 1. It will meet in the main Sanctuary at Metro Church of San Diego, 8691 Echo Drive, La Mesa, the first Saturday of every month at 9 a. m.

“This is a new birth celebration and La Mesa Metro-Inner City Lighthouse will focus on salvation and serving God. You will enjoy a great time of fellowship as we praise and worship the Lord at these Aglow meetings,” said Madelaine Jackson, president.

Jackson said that everyone is cordially invited to attend these meetings. Every meeting will have a Christian speaker who will share God’s unrivaled love, she added.

Aglow is composed of over 1,400 groups called Lighthouses in the United States and more than 2,100 groups outside the United States. Aglow is a network of caring women expressing God’s heart for everyone in their sphere of influence, a faith-building organization rooted in local groups, and international scope, one-on-one in ministry.
