When
listening to advise from your staff, are you careful to discern the reliability
of the person, and the information?
Proverbs
(21:28NIV) reads, “A false witness will perish, and whoever listens to
him will be destroyed forever.”
When
our staff members have demonstrated lack of reliability in the past, be careful
when they give you fresh information. Listen carefully, and ask follow-up
questions. Insist they separate fact from speculation and validate any
information furnished.
Be
cautious before you act on what they relate. Then, you will receive correct
factual information that will give you a solid base for effective business
decisions.
