YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES: Oversee the spiritual life of the ministry and church relations.

 

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH? To see all of our houses sponsored and establish a Christian university in Cancun for pastor training.

 

WHAT ARE YOU BEST KNOWN FOR?  Working with the urban poor in Mexico and the United States.

 

WHERE DO YOU FEEL THE LORD IS LEADING THE ORGANIZATION? To train workers for ministry in urban areas all over the world and build houses for the poor.

 

WHAT IS FRUSTRATING TO YOU? The consumerist values in the American church.

 

WHAT DO YOU  ENJOY MOST IN YOUR POSITION? Serving with the Amor Ministry staff and working with the Mexican pastors.

 

HOW CAN PEOPLE PRAY FOR YOU OR YOUR ORGANIZATION? That as leaders we draw from God¹s wisdom to go before us and lay a path for what he wants us to do.  That we continue on a corporate spiritual journey with an openness to letting the Holy Spirit work in power.

 

IN WHAT CAPACITY CAN VOLUNTEERS SERVE? Barnabas, Nexus, internships.

 

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY:  I serve with my husband, Scott.  We started the ministry together 27 years ago.  We have an adopted daughter, San Juana that is 34 years old, the mother of 3 children and a son Jordan that is 20 years old and in college.

 

WHERE IS YOUR HOME CHURCH? Solana Beach Presbyterian and we are involved with their missions program.
