WHAT DOES THE ORGANIZATION DO? Family ministry church training, parenting seminars, marriage seminars, men’s discipleship training, family counseling.

WHAT AREA OF EXPERTISE DO YOU HAVE OR ARE YOU KNOWN FOR? Counseling, speaking, teaching, writing of biblically based family related issues.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH? To see every Christian church implement effective family ministries as directed by God’s word as a part of its core ministries that would equip Christians with the understanding they need to respond to the challenges families are clearly experiencing.
WHERE DO YOU FEEL THE LORD IS LEADING THE ORGANIZATION? To equip the Christian church to provide effective family ministries. The ministry recently began a half-hour radio ministry on KPRZ, Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING TO YOU? The practice that many Christian churches will say the family is so important and that the family is a priority, but allocate very little attention to real discipling in this area. When you look at the actual ongoing ministries directed toward the family, especially in the area of parenting, there are few truly biblically based resources and minimum efforts really dedicated to this critical area. Most churches believe that having a youth group, a children’s ministry, and an annual marriage retreat is adequate family ministry. Yet the divorce rate, the poor choices teenagers are making, the quantity of single parent and blended families, and a high level of counseling on family issues clearly indicates we need to revisit our methods, approach, and follow-up to ministering to families.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST IN YOUR JOB? Witnessing the fruit of God’s word in the positive changes in peoples’ personal lives, their marriage relationships, their relationship with their children, and their children’s maturing process.
HOW CAN PEOPLE PRAY FOR YOU OR YOUR ORGANIZATION? Pray for the church senior pastors, that they would see the great need in this area and that God would raise up lay people with a heart to disciple others in this area.
DO YOU HAVE A NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS? We are looking for disciples who are willing to minister to people within their own congregation.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY: I have been married for 23 years. I have 3 children, a son 21 years old, a son 19 years old, and a daughter 10 years old.
