WHAT DOES THE ORGANIZATION DO? REACH out to the surf community, TEACH them about God in a way they can relate to, CONNECT them with other believers and help DEVELOP them so they can effectively SERVE their communities for God.
YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES: I am the contest director, we hold 9 contests in a season and our series acts as our advertising campaign to the surfing community.
WHAT AREA OF EXPERTISE DO YOU HAVE OR ARE YOU KNOWN FOR? Directing contests and playing practical jokes.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH? Make Christian Surfers a household name and establish enough chapters up and down the coast so that a “Grom” wouldn’t have to drive more than 15 minutes to attend one of the weekly meetings.
WHERE DO YOU FEEL THE LORD IS LEADING THE ORGANIZATION? To become better equipped to raise up leaders.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING TO YOU? "The fields are ripe for the harvest but the laborers are few."
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST IN YOUR JOB? Hanging out with Groms. (Young Surfers)
HOW CAN PEOPLE PRAY FOR YOU OR YOUR ORGANIZATION? "Pray that the Lord of the Harvest send out workers into his harvest field."
DO YOU HAVE A NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS? YES! Anything from leaders to cooking to light office work and every thing in between.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY: Been married to my wife Margaret 16 years come July and we have four kids: Sarah 10, Madison 8, Brenden 5, and Geneva 2...quite possibly the best kids in the world (and I definitely got the best wife possible).
