It's
About Students
|
|
I
just finished reading Simone Carr’s article on See You at
the Pole in Good News Etc. She did a marvelous job of integrating
the opinions of the most important people for the story: the students
themselves. Please let her know we think she did a great job!
And thanks for your continued support of students.

Found
A Roommate
|
|
I
have found a great roommate through Good News, Etc.!
What
a relief it is to find just the right person - it is truly a miracle.
I really, really appreciate the free ad you ran. I was in a desperate
situation and the new roommate came just in time.
Thanks
for all you do.

Stabbed
In The Back
|
|
When
Gov. Schwarzenegger signed SB1234 on Sept. 22, he approved a bill
that can be used to legitimize persecution of Christian Free Speech.
You heard me right. Our beloved Republican governor has sold out
the Christians in California. Did I mention he is Republican?
I guess character really does matter. What a betrayal! I guess
we will be expanding our prison ministries - will any of you visit
me in jail?
When
I preach against homosexuality, the Muslim faith and abortion,
my sermons will be labeled hate speech and thus I am inciting
violence.
Well,
mark this down in your books as another example of being stabbed
in the back by the Republican “e-stab-lishment.” But
even more ominous is that this is the beginning of the great persecution
of Christians in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
We always said one day this would happen, and here it is!
Whether
it is the last days of the earth, I do not know, no one knows
the day or the hour, but I can say that these are probably the
last days for America. To whom much is given, much is required.
We have been weighed in the balance, and have been found lacking.
God have mercy on us all, especially our children and our children’s
children.

Midway's
Disgrace
|
|
The
United States Military has a legal ban on all forms of homosexuality.
Homosexual acts are just not allowed in the military for many
good reasons.
The
USS Midway, which is now a decommissioned aircraft carrier museum,
doesn’t seem to understand the military policy.
On
Sunday, Sept. 12, the retired aircraft carrier allowed a homosexual
group to hold a fundraiser on the ship. The event, “Living
Out Loud,” raised money for a homosexual drug rehab program
called Stepping Stone.
Stepping
Stone totally embraces the homosexual lifestyle, while weakly
attempting to get homosexuals clean and sober. They don’t
get the message: You can’t expect people to get off drugs,
while encouraging them to stay in sexual immorality.
Pro-homosexual
comedian Kathy Griffin was the entertainer at the event.
You
can express your displeasure with the USS Midway by calling 619-544-9600
and ask for the ship manager.
Also,
if you know of active military personnel or veterans contact them
and ask them to file formal complaints against the USS Midway
staff!

Where's
The Fire?
|
|
Since
we are living in the latter days, apostasy is thick in the form
of easy “believer -ism,” Rick Warren, seeker-friendly,
and Willow Creek, but I am somewhat amazed how many pastors are
following right behind this stuff. Even guys like Hanagraff and
McQuire see this as biblical - it’s unbelievable!
The
church is asleep, money grabbing, hirelings. No Billy Sunday.
No Spurgeon. No Edwards. No fire. Males have become feminized
and don’t even realize it. Hence apostasy. See Matthew 25
about separation between goats and sheep. Sometimes I am embarrassed
to say I am a born-again Christian.

The
United States of America is the world’s undisputed champion
of freedom. Many powerful nations have attempted to dominate and
enslave the world, but America has fought to liberate it.
While
other nations have merely talked about freedom, Americans have
traveled the world shedding their blood for it. When Hitler needed
to be stopped, our nation stopped him. When communism needed to
be opposed, our country opposed it. When oppressed people needed
liberation, our military liberated them.
Where
would this world be without our sacrifice, courage and commitment
to liberty? We are a great country because we stand for something
great-freedom!
Please
join me as I pray for our nation and for the cause of freedom
everywhere!
