North inland churches organizing PrayerWalk

Something exciting is happening in the north inland cities of San Diego County. God is drawing churches together across denominational lines to send prayerwalking teams into our local neighborhoods to pray a blessing over each street and home during the Lenten season next year.

PrayerWalk 2005 is a systematic plan for Christ-centered, Bible-believing Christians to pray individually for every resident in our community.

The idea was birthed in a Prayer for Pastors prayer meeting where Christians from different congregations and denominations meet regularly to pray scriptural blessings over each local pastor and his church.

The members of Prayer for Pastors shared the idea for PrayerWalk 2005 with the pastors in the North City Inland Pastors’ Prayer Group, and they responded with enthusiastic support. Not only did the pastors indicate that they wanted their congregations to be a part of this, but they also said that they would join with Prayer for Pastors in promoting this prayerwalk in other communities and among other pastors.
